She has taught machine guarding as a part of her teaching assignments at Indiana University of PA where she is an Associate Professor.  Dr. Rhodes is a Board Certified Safety Professional in Comprehensive Practice and has decades of industrial loss control experience.

NOTE: This information will be presented using Federal OSHA and consensus standards. State OSHA regulations will be similar but may be more stringent.  It is the employer’s responsibility to identify and select the safeguard necessary to protect employees and others in the work area, as well as provide appropriate training in safe work practices.
