Agenda
During this Webinar, participants will:
- Review the shear stress distribution to predict the most likely location of spring failures.
- Explore some of the most critical elements to producing “good” (and bad) spring wire.
- Find out what answers you should expect from your next failure analysis.
- Discuss eight case studies that show common problems encountered during spring design and processing.
- Learn about the two most common causes of hydrogen embrittlement and how to avoid them
- Identify the mechanisms and characteristics of fatigue failures. Is there a “good” fatigue failure?
Participants will miss having the coffee breaks (unless you provide). Otherwise, it's as if they were actually in the classroom with the same detailed information and communication opportunities available to them.
