There's Something Missing in Your Workplace Safety Program
Three of the top 10 OSHA violations last year were for lack of employee training in mandated programs.

SMI In-House Safety Training

In just one day you can train all your employees in mandated safety requirements at your facility without stopping production.

Who should attend:
Everyone. That's right - everyone needs training, but probably not in every area. For that reason, each session is customized to the individual company's needs. Depending on the number of shifts and the number of employees, it may be necessary to provide the training over two or more periods. For that reason, we will discuss your specific needs and requirements before finalizing the program.

We will tailor the program around your schedule for minimum production downtime. A typical training session would take approximately 3 hours. Your work force could be split into two or three groups, completing all required training in a single day.

This program covers:
- Hazard Communication
- Lockout/Tagout
- Fire, Emergency Response and Evacuation
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Forklift Driver Training
- Confined Spaces
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Electrical Safety Work Practices

In addition, program materials include a complete "Employee Safety Training Manual," containing the above written programs with a sign-off and certification sheet for each subject.

The Employee Safety Training Manual also contains these required plant assessments:
- Confined Spaces
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Lockout/Tagout Periodic Assessment

Program materials also cover information and requirements for:
- Forklift daily safety inspection list

You will also get information and materials for:
- Hearing conservation program

Plus, we will recommend ways to comply with other safety requirements, such as:
- Biohazard containers
- Sharps containers
- Lockout station
- Hazcom station

Finally, SMI will address any individual problems or safety concerns you may have at your facility.

To make arrangements, contact SMI, (630) 495-8595.

Cost:
$1,000 per day plus expenses for members.

A wall-to-wall Safety Audit can be combined with the in-house training during the visit for $1,800.
