What I like most about being a springmaker: The people I work with and for.

Favorite food: Grilled sea bass, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Favorite authors: Tom Clancy and
Jack Welch.

Favorite musician: Paul McCartney.

Hobbies: Golf.

Favorite places: McKinney, TX, and Hawaii – any island.

Best times of my life: Any activity with grandchildren.

A really great evening to me is: Dinner with my wife, Jackie, and a nice glass of wine.

The one thing I can’t stand is: Phony people.

My most outstanding qualities are: Perseverance, analytical and organizational skills.

People who knew me in school thought I was: Aggressive and fun-loving.

I knew I was an “adult” when: My wife told me we were expecting our first child.

If I weren’t working at MW Industries, I would like to: Be a lawyer.

The most difficult business decision I ever had to make was: Always related to downsizing divisions for which I was responsible.

I wonder what would have happened if: I had not transferred from Michigan to Los Angeles 30 years ago.

Role models: Chuck Rowley – former associate and friend.

I would like to be remembered in the spring industry for: Being a good manager with a fair and consistent approach to people.

But people will probably remember me for: My long and extensive travel commute to work.
